It has been said by some that money is the root of all evil. Charles Eisenstein would disagree, because while he sees the inherent problems of our current monetary system, he also envisions new forms of money that solve our economic growth problem. Not the problem of how to keep it growing! The problem of redesigning the economy so it no longer needs to grow to be considered healthy. I encourage you to watch!
Now that I’m retired, I’m free from the challenge of charging for services just so people will value them. I don’t have to be concerned that doing everything free, by donation, will result in fewer students! I’ve tried both approaches and am happy to be done with this challenge!
